Sohail's Gmail Notifier for Google Apps is an alternative to Gmail Notifier released by Google. This notifier works with gmail.com & any domain hosted by Google Apps. It supports proxy server, mailto links and multiple accounts. Gmail Notifier reads the XML from Gmail atom to notify you. Please note that currently Google only posts 20 unread messages in the atom.
